MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Talk of the Bay Toastmasters Club is a little different to most regular clubs. Members in an Advanced Club such as this need to have completed the Competent Toastmaster or Competent Communicator status.
Our aim is to enable Advanced Toastmasters to add to their presentations and leadership skills and move forward with more lengthy assignments that may not be able to be presented at a regular club.
The benefits of being a member of an advanced club are numerous. Members are able to utilise the club environment as a training ground to gain opportunities to enhance personal and occupational advancement; development of leadership skills in a club's friendly and supportive atmosphere; make effective use of Toastmaster experience in community affairs.
Have you thought of returning to Toastmasters, but your busy life style restricts you to regular weekly or forthnightly meetings?
If the prospect of enjoying good food and wine on a monthly basis, coupled with a relaxed social atmosphere appeals to you, our dinner meetings may be the answer.
Whilst membership is open to advanced toastmasters, EVERYONE is welcome to attend as a guest.
What are the costs for membership?
A joining fee of AUS $15.00 applies, plus a pro rata semi-annual payment of AUS $7.00 per month. This will cover the cost of your Toastmaster badge, your Toastmaster magazine and administration costs.
The above prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations between the US and Australian dollar, however changes are only made when major fluctuations occur.
Meeting costs: (Restaurant driven)
A sumptious two course meal with Tea/Coffee included is served at a minimal cost of $22.00. To assist in covering District related expenses, we encourage members and guests to purchase tickets in a quality Raffle prize.
An added advantage will be access to the members area of this website.
